Romans 12:6-8 (NIV) "We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully."

Red

Blue

Likes research to discover full meaning for personal benefit Enjoys checking out new information Often clarifies by giving opposing views Loves words and definitions Teaches as a method for problem solving Tends to present themselves logically Is diligent and thorough Retains and organizes large numbers of facts Will test the knowledge of others Usually objective and may appear insensitive Tends to give detailed instructions May appear to think they are always right Can appear to be overly critical with a desire to correct misinformation Develops self control and discipline at a young age Appears to have a stable personality

Green

Able to choose words that encourage Enjoys utilizing life principles from stories Makes others feel good about themselves just by being around them May shirk work to talk with others Can encourage others regardless of personal circumstances Needs company of others on a regular basis Enjoys one-on-one sharing and counseling Personalizes most reading material Consistently expresses enthusiasm Patient with involved problems Behavior usually consistent and dependable Willing to go the extra mile with people Can become more involved with the problem than the person Prefers reading and teaching materials which have practical examples Shares personal insights in meaningful and helpful ways

Orange

Uses their material goods efficiently Enjoys giving to unpublicized needs Receives great pleasure from giving Creative in discovering resources Tends to give of their best Prefers monetary involvement with organizations Can limit others' opportunity to give to them Wants their gifts to have lasting benefits Tends away from all indebtedness Will make personal sacrifices in order to give Prefers supportive behind the scenes role Appears to have a (worldly) value system Functions well with a little or a lot May appear to be trying to control through their giving Appreciates and is sensitive to gratefulness

Purple

Able to visualize and integrate tasks, projects and people into common goals Able to maximize talents of others Avoids involvement in areas that are not theirs Will assume responsibility if no one else does Prefers planning vs. develop as you go Will delegate whenever possible Tends to be neat and orderly in personal life Able to endure reaction from others to accomplish the goal in time Enjoys helping others become more efficient Looks for new challenges when projects are completed Can finalize difficult decisions May appear to be a perfectionist Can appear to use people because of a tendency to view them as resources Can seem insensitive or calloused because of their drive Is firm and steadfast regardless of opposition

Yellow

Able to identify with those in distress Tends to be an empathetic listener Their empathy may feed on others self pity Will give up personal rights for others Tends to be easily hurt and is sensitive to words or actions that offend others Desires to support and protect Is humble and strongly reacts to pride Can't withstand stress and personal attacks Reacts negatively to people who seem callous Tends to be guided by emotions Likes to be around people socially Weeps easily Lacks firmness and may appear indecisive Desires harmony and will compromise for it Avoidance of confrontation may be viewed as weakness
